Fiscal deficit down 44.75pc to Rs 1.71 lakh cr during Apr-Dec

The Centre's fiscal deficit narrowed by 44.75% year-on-year to Rs 1.71 lakh crore during first three quarters of the current fiscal on the back of better-than-expected revenue from sale of spectrum & robust tax collections.
