| Business Standard Economy Policy News Lakshmi Vilas Bank has reported a 38.4% decline in net profit at Rs 17.93 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2012. The Karur-based private bank had registered net profit at Rs 29.12 crore during the same period of last year. Total income rose to Rs 477.01 crore for the second quarter this year, from Rs 411.49 crore registered during the same period of last year, Lakshmi Vilas Bank said in a statement. Shares of the company were trading at Rs 76.60 apiece, down by 2.11% over the previous close in the BSE. |
