Dear Member,
Shrinkage in conventional professional opportunities has been experienced due to rationalisation of various compliance related provisions as well as due to enhanced technological involvement in regulatory mechanism as a whole. The merger of certain public sector banks last year and the proposed divestment in some other such banks and other public sector companies will, no doubt, put further strain on the already diminished scope of professional opportunities available with seasoned professionals.
To identify and suggest new professional opportunities to widen the scope vis-à-vis identifying newer areas, e.g. advising and facilitating clients on cost savings and revenue augmentation, provision for technology obsolescence and management, succession planning and to develop requisite skill development programmes, a Think Tank, under the mentorship of our renowned CA. (Dr.) Girish Ahuja, is being formed. In order to have varied and larger participation in the said Think Tank, a two-fold invitation is extended to you to share your interest to contribute to the cause of the Think Tank by way of –
(1) contributing your considered views on the subject and allied matters, and/or
(2) acting as a volunteer in, and being the part of, the above Tank.
